Music

We recognize that the ways of worshiping God are as varied as the people who make up His family.  Our services are designed to reflect this variety in the music we offer to God. Whether it’s a contemporary chorus or a beloved hymn or gospel song, our goal is to lift the hearts of believers as we glorify God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

The Adult Choir is a vital part of our weekly worship.  The music they sing is generally adult contemporary choral in style, from writers such as Robert Sterling, Travis Cottrell, Steven Curtis Chapman, and Mike Speck. The choir meets for rehearsal every Wednesday evening after Wednesday night service, with extra rehearsals on Sundays as we prepare for our annual Christmas cantata or other special presentations.

We are blessed to have a number of talented soloists and instrumentalists in our congregation who not only share their gifts in our worship services, but are also very active in ministering through music in Richmond Hill and neighboring communities.
